The Governor of the\u00a0CBN (Central Bank of Nigeria <\/a><\/a>), Olayemi Cardoso, On 11th January appointed new executives to run the affairs of Union, Keystone, and Polaris Banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This followed the CBN\u2019s dissolution of the boards and managements of these banks due to alleged corporate governance infractions and non-compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The newly appointed executives are set to assume their roles immediately, as announced in a statement by the acting director of Corporate Communication at the CBN, Sidi Ali Hakama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
