Owing to the ongoing efforts to upgrade educational facilities in the Federal Capital Territory, Minister Nyesom Wike of the FCT has authorized a two-week holiday extension for schools that are undergoing renovations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Director of the Department of Quality Assurance, FCTA, Dr. Favour Edem- Nse, made this disclosure in Abuja, Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Directorsaid that the decision is aimed at ensuring the safety and comfort of students and staff during the renovation period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the Director, theextension applies exclusively to schools undergoing the accelerated rehabilitation and reconstruction of dilapidated structures, while certificate students will continue with their academic schedules as planned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She stated that the decision is strategic to ensure that students preparing for examinations are not disrupted; allowing them to remain focused on their studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Edem- Nse reiterated the FCT Administration\u2019 s commitment to providing conducive learning environments and improving educational infrastructure across the FCT, while prioritizing the well being of Students and Staff during the rehabilitation process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Director reassured the Parents, Guardians, and Stakeholders of their mandate to continue to maintain high educational standards in FCT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
