An important access route to the Federal Capital Territory’s Karsana Renewed Hope City will be built with N31.66 billion sanctioned by the Federal Executive Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is according to a statement on Tuesday night by Mark Chieshe, the Special Assistant, Media and Strategy to the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Ahmed Dangiwa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The approval, granted during a Federal Executive Council meeting on Tuesday, is part of the Federal Government\u2019s broader efforts to address the nation\u2019s housing deficit and improve urban development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The minister expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for his visionary approach to housing, saying, \u201cThe Honourable Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa has extended his deepest appreciation to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for his bold vision for housing development and consistent support towards achieving the goals of the Renewed Hope Agenda for housing and urban development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This commendation follows the approval of N31.66 billion by the Federal Executive Council (FEC) for the construction of a critical access road to the 3,112 Housing Unit Renewed Hope City in Karsana, Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The approval was granted during the FEC meeting today, following the presentation of a memo by the Honourable Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Bar. Nyesom Wike.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dangiwa said the approval aligns with a directive from the President issued last year, emphasising the importance of infrastructure in the development of Renewed Hope Housing Project sites nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In discussing the significance of the approval, Dangiwa highlighted its importance for the overall success of the housing initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThis approval demonstrates Mr President\u2019s unwavering commitment to providing affordable housing for Nigerians and ensuring that all Renewed Hope Housing Projects are supported with the necessary infrastructure,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cThe construction of this road will enhance accessibility to the Karsana Renewed Hope City, making it easier for Nigerians to benefit from this landmark housing project,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Karsana Renewed Hope City, a flagship initiative under the Renewed Hope Housing Programme, is a key element in the administration\u2019s strategy to address Nigeria\u2019s chronic housing shortage. With a focus on delivering affordable homes, the project aims to improve living standards and foster economic growth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dangiwa also praised Wike for his diligent work in presenting the memo and aligning the project with the government\u2019s overarching goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He affirmed the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development\u2019s commitment to ensuring the Renewed Hope Housing Projects are delivered on time and to the highest standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The construction of the vital access road is expected to begin soon, with the project being closely monitored to ensure its timely completion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
