NEMA Warehouse Looting by Abuja residents


Reports from OsunReporters indicate that residents of the Federal Capital Territory engaged in looting on Sunday, targeting a warehouse allegedly owned by the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria.

This action was reportedly driven by the prevailing economic challenges across the country. The warehouse, located in the Phase 3 region of Abuja, was ransacked by numerous residents.

FCT command spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident via text message, stating that “The situation is now under control.” As of the time of this report, the extent of goods looted and the level of damage inflicted remain unconfirmed.
