
Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has expressed contentment with the progress of ongoing projects in the nation’s capital. Notable projects include the infrastructure development in Wuye District,
the FCT Highway 105 (an 11 kilometer six-lane dual carriageway) connecting the Airport Expressway to Kuje, and the official residence of the Vice President.
Wike praised the contractors for their speed and quality of work, mentioning that the Wuye/Wuse flyover and the Vice President’s residence are expected to be completed by May,

He emphasized the significance of the FCT Highway 105, stating that upon completion, it will significantly transform the area.
Addressing concerns about project abandonment, Wike assured residents that no ongoing projects in the FCT will be neglected. He affirmed that priority projects are adequately funded in the 2024 statutory budget.
Additionally, Wike reassured residents about the resurfacing project in Asokoro District, assuring its completion by May.
