SILENT ACHIEVER DR. FABIAN NWAORA (FOUNDER OF EFAB ESTATE)
DR Fabian Nwaora, chairman, EFAB Properties Limited is an igbo business man and estate developer from Anambra state. Chief (Dr.) Fabian Nworah is popularly known as Egbeike or chikeluba. He is a native of Akabu in Osumenyi, Nwewi south local government Area of Anambra State. He is a business mogul, a billionaire real estate developer and a philanthropist who is based in abuja.
Fabian Nworah was born in 1960 ,Nnewi South Anambra state. At a tender age in life, he learnt from his parents, the late Chief Ejefobinyi and Madam Louisa Uzoejeaga Nwaora, key elements, such as hard work, honesty and the fear of God. He knew that these were the building blocks to a successful living.
He completed his primary education at St. Anthony Primary School, Oke-Afia Osumenyi and City Primary School, Fegge, Onitsha. He did not attend university education at an early age due to the nature of his background .He proceeded to the township for apprenticeship.
From that humble beginning in the 1980s, His business journey began when he traded building materials for his elder brother, Chief Louis Nwora in Kano.
The business took him from Kano to Sokoto and then to Abuja . After two years of tutelage under his elder brother , he plunged into the highly volatile and harsh business world. He embraced the challenge with equanimity. After a few successful years, he spread his tentacles to other parts of the country. Much of those initiatives paid off handsomely when he took a decision in 1992 to relocate his headquarters to the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja. He once revealed that when he got to Abuja, he settled at Idu and noticed that the area was remote, so he bought a plot of land for N2000. After building a four-bedroom apartment with a Boys’ quarter on the land, Nwora soon figured he was lonely.
So, he bought another plot for N2500 from the villagers and built 10 flats of rooms and parlours (self-contain)with N10,000. Nwora who rented the apartment for 6,000 soon realised that he could recoup both the cost of the land and building cost in two years’ rent. That was when he decided to venture into the property business.
A few years after launching out, an inert desire to push and explore the various opportunities that came up in the formative years of his enterprise propelled him into diversifying his business into critical areas of need for a growing economy like Nigeria. In his over 40 years of investing in various parts of the country, this extraordinary entrepreneur has indeed touched lives by creating jobs across various sectors of the economy and contributed significantly to the development of the Abuja master plan through the construction of thousands of low and middle income housing estates at the Federal Capital Territory.
An accomplished entrepreneur and philanthropist, who patterned his life in the way of most successful global business leaders, Nwaora has vowed to continue to invest in various sectors of the Nigerian economy until poverty is finally exterminated from the land.
He is married to Lolo Evelyn Nwoara with children and grandchildren. . The marriage is blessed with 5 children. He is the billonaire father of Austin David nwaora who is an instagram celebrity and also into real estate.
Chief Nwaora, who holds the traditional titles of Chikeluba of Osumenyi and Aku Chinyere of Abagana, has, through the Chikeluba Education Scholarship Foundation, sponsored thousands of indigent students from across the country to acquire secondary and tertiary education. His achievements, particularly in the area of housing development, earned him a national honour of Member of the Order of the Niger (MON) in 2008.
Due to his humble nature and simplicity, you would never guess the amount of wealth he has just by merely looking at him. He is always associating freely with his relatives and village men. He is popularly called Egbeike by people meaning loud gun or powerful gun.

Dr Nwora hails from Nnewi South Local Government of Anambra State and has first-class estates scattered around the city of Abuja and other parts of Nigeria. His other investments include Efab Petroleum, Queens Construction and Commercial Co Ltd, Fechton and Sons International Ltd, Top Rank Hotels Ltd, a 3-star hotel with branches in Abuja, Enugu and Onisha, and First Generation Mortgage Bank.
