Africa Gears Up for 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Leadership & Business Summit 2025 in Kigali

In a powerful call for unity, visionary leadership, and strategic collaboration, the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa 2025 has officially been unveiled by Amb. Dr. Kingsley Amafibe, Project Director for Africa. The announcement was made during a press briefing ahead of the highly anticipated 100 Most Notable Africans Leadership and Business Summit, scheduled to take place from July 4–6, 2025, at the prestigious Marriott Hotel in Kigali, Rwanda.
This monumental event celebrates the efforts and resilience of Africa’s leading voices in peacebuilding, governance, entrepreneurship, and innovation. It aims to galvanize leaders across public and private sectors to foster growth, drive investment, and build an inclusive, prosperous future for the continent.
A Beacon for Business, Leadership, and Collaboration
Dr. Amafibe highlighted that the summit will serve as a platform to discuss Africa’s transformation into a global business hub, championed by innovation, strategic partnerships, and transparent governance. With a focus on stable political landscapes and visionary leadership, the summit is expected to reinforce investor confidence and encourage sustainable development.
“There is a pressing need for visionary leadership, strategic governance, and collaboration to unlock Africa’s full potential,” stated Dr. Amafibe.

The three-day event will feature insightful keynote addresses, impactful panel discussions, and high-level networking sessions that unite decision-makers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and peace advocates from across the continent and the diaspora.
Knowledge Sharing and Cross-Border Initiatives
The summit will emphasize the importance of effective collaboration among African nations, particularly in areas such as education, agriculture, health, and trade. A key objective is promoting cross-border initiatives that facilitate best practice sharing, reduce trade barriers, and establish regional security frameworks.
Honoring Africa’s Most Notable Peace Icons
A highlight of the summit will be the official award presentation to the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa 2025, a distinguished list of individuals making groundbreaking contributions to peace, economic growth, and leadership. Among the notable honorees are:
