Zamfara State Governor, Dr. Dauda Lawal, Honored with Peace Achievers International Award
The Governor of Zamfara State, His Excellency Dr. Dauda Lawal, has been bestowed with the prestigious Peace Achievers International Award as the Governor of the Year and named one of the “100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa 2024.”
The esteemed accolade was conferred upon him on Friday during a ceremony held at his private office in Abuja. The award was presented by the Project Director Africa, Ambassador Dr. Kingsley Amafibe, in recognition of Governor Lawal’s unwavering commitment to education, healthcare services, peace and security, and youth empowerment.
This event annually celebrates exceptional individuals dedicated to promoting peace across the African continent. The Peace Achievers International Awards attract a distinguished audience, including politically exposed personalities, prominent business executives, representatives from international organizations, ambassadors, and highly esteemed entertainers.
