FCT Minister, Wike Collaborate to Address Apo-Karshi Road Challenges

The pressing issues faced by the residents of Karshi have prompted a call for intervention from Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike and the FCT Minister. The completion of the Apo-Karshi road is seen as crucial not only for alleviating the suffering of the residents of Orozo-Karshi but also for enhancing the restoration of the Abuja master plan. Numerous abandoned projects in the Kurudu-Orozo-Karshi axis, owned by Abuja residents, have been left incomplete due to the lack of accessible roads to the FCT.

The residents eagerly received the news of the appointment of Barr Nyesom Ezenwo Wike as FCT Minister, expressing excitement based on his past accomplishments as the governor of Rivers State. With a reputation as a no-nonsense leader, there is optimism that he will overcome any challenges and ensure the successful completion of the Apo-Karshi road project. This is in stark contrast to the unfulfilled promises of previous FCT ministers, who pledged completion and commissioning without delivering on those commitments.

The plea is for the FCT Minister, often referred to as “Mr. Project” due to his track record, to utilize his influence and resources to address the longstanding issues surrounding the Apo-Karshi road. The hope is that his commitment to excellence and zero tolerance for failure will result in the successful commissioning of the project. Prayers are extended for wisdom and the necessary resources to be granted to the minister for the successful execution of this crucial infrastructure project.

Acknowledging the impact of the minister’s previous visit to Bwari, which reportedly led to improved security, there is a call for him to visit the Apo-Karshi road site to witness the challenges firsthand. It is believed that his visit can bring relief to the residents, similar to the positive outcomes observed in the Bwari axis. The collective hope is for an end to the suffering of the Orozo-Karshi axis residents and the emergence of smiles on their faces through the minister’s intervention.
