Canadian Council Partners Global Scholarship Trust, to Empower Students for Internship Opportunities

The Canadian Education Council(CEC), through the International Career Center(ICC),
has announced partnership with the Global Scholarship Trust ,a non-governmental organisation ( NGO) that will empower 5000 Nigerian universities and African students.

Canadian Education Council, who disclosed this Tuesday in a Statement, said that the move will further extend its reach to Nigeria and West Africa.

“ICC offers a comprehensive solution to certain geographical limitations alongside growing demands of students eager to gain global exposure by providing universities with a streamlined process for connecting their students with a diverse range of global internship opportunities.

“The Global Scholarship Trust will serve as the official representative for the Canadian Education Council in the region.

Salin ,who said that the collaboration is aimed at fostering participation in international internships, expressed hopes that the collaboration will give equal opportunities to aspiring students globally.

“Together, through the International Career Center, we will achieve this.”she added.

Global Scholarship Trust stated that the initiative will equip Nigerian and African students with essential global skills, ensuring they compete favorably on the global stage.

“This international internships opportunities are for undergraduate students or fresh graduates in any African University or Colleges looking for opportunities for internship abroad.

He further stated that ,in today’s interconnected world, preparing students for a globalized career landscape is essential.

” Global internships provide an invaluable opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience, develop intercultural competencies, and enhance their employability in a competitive global job market.

“Global Scholarship Trust is the official representative in Nigeria and West Africa and I am really optimistic about this partnership with the Council,one which I am confident will strengthen the educational system in Nigeria and further foster the relationship between Nigeria and Canada.

“This program is to offer qualified students the opportunities for internships abroad or remotely and earn between $5-$35 or more per hour.”he said.
